Democrats Relive Vietnam

The Democrats can’t seem to get past the Vietnam template. Every lesson they learned from those formative years was wrong. They continue to align themselves with the enemies of America, and do so intentionally with the demise of the American way in their hearts. Why would they purposefully engage in the willing destruction of America? Because they operate under the premise that “the enemy of my enemy is my friend,” and the big enemy is the U.S. The Great Satan.

So how did they get there? Like in Vietnam, where the evil capitalist nations, led by the U.S., attacked the poor innocent, thriving, peaceful, communist nation of Vietnam, today’s conflict brings the Great Satan to yet another peaceful, prosperous, innocent, and thriving nation: Iraq. Once again, the U.S. Seeks to impose its evil Capitalist will on a decidedly non-capitalist society.

It’s no mistake at all that the Democrats of today are staunchly allied with the Terrorist cells that our troops are fighting. It’s by design, just as the alliance that they forged with the communists was because communism and the hippies had a common enemy: Capitalism.

John Kerry comes out and once again compares our troops with the cries of “baby killers” that were chanted repugnantly at the men who served those few decades ago. He said,

"and there is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, uh-uh-uh, you know, women, breaking sort of the customs of the -- of -- of -- of -- historical customs, religious customs, whether you like it or not. I mused recently about the attempt to once again equate our soldiers in this war with the “war criminal” mentality associated with them in the Vietnam era. I said,”They say that hundreds of thousand of innocent civilians died at the hands of our troops, but claim to support the troops. How long until veterans of this war get spit upon and called baby killers?”

Let me be first to say that if our soldiers are getting called “baby killers,” being spat upon, and routinely dishonored when they come home, like they were then. I will be first in line to put my steel toe clad boot through the f***ing mouth of the person responsible for such an atrocious act. I won’t stop there either. When they lay comatose, limp and lifeless in a murky puddle of their own blood, I will top it off with a hearty spit in their face. I’m not kidding. Watch your step Liberals, because you tread dangerously close to the territory of unforgivable acts.

Howard Dean says,
“This is the same situation we had in Vietnam. Everybody then kept saying, 'just another year, just stay the course, we'll have a victory.' Well, we didn't have a victory, and this policy cost the lives of an additional 25,000 troops because we were too stubborn to recognize what was happening." (H/T JimmyB the CUG)

Unnecessary proof of the fact that the lessons Democrats learned in Vietnam were, “don’t go to war” and “don’t stay too long.” The lessons they ought to have learned are, “Fight to win,” and "don’t use propaganda to turn victories into defeats.” (See Tet Offensive)

You may now attempt to persuade me that I’m not always right.

One more thing, Let's hope this isn't true.
